 Nautronix has a modern, purpose built facility on Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Aberdeen.
The facilites comprise of: - A secure yard, extending to some 1,500 sqm. This is fully levelled and concreted to provide open storage as well as the safe loading and unloading of transport vehicles; our own forklift trucks and third party cranes as required for the heavier loads
- External tank, 6m diameter x 6m deep which has been developed to a state of the art acoustic test facility
- Internal workshops at ground level, covering 200 sqm and laid out to provide for production, assembly, test and repair capability
- Secured stores area of 200 sqm on the first floor, where a minimum inventory of £2,000,000 is held for use. The stores area is serviced by a goods lift to facilitate the safe movement of equipment to and from stock
- Internal work and assembly are located in the centre of the building where system integration and testing takes place. This area extends to approximately 300 sqm and to the full height of the 2 storey building. This core area is serviced by a 5,000kg SWL overhead crane. It is also serviced by a full height (2 storey) roller door, allowing easy access for bulky equipment
- Engineering offices for our expanding Design and Development Team
- Total internal space, including those areas detailed above, extending to approximately 2,000 sqm on 2 levels
This valuable resource is fully outfitted to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our staff and visitors. The site has ample parking for our staff, visitors and guests and is also designed to permit wheel-chair access to all areas. Entry to the building is controlled by an electronic “smart” swipe card system and visitors must be escorted by their host at all times. |
