| Nautronix have succeeded in entering the Indian market with an order from Essar Oilfields Services Ltd for a NASDrill system. The order worth over £150,000 is the first Nautronix have received from an Indian company, as such the company hope this will lead the way to further orders from that region. The order consists of a full NASDrill USBL system to replace the existing positioning system onboard Essar’s ‘Wildcat’ vessel. Nautronix Managing Director, Mark Patterson commented; “We are delighted Essar have decided to replace their current positioning system with NASDrill rather than purchase an upgrade from their existing supplier. This truly demonstrates our customers are recognising the advantages of our technology over other systems in the marketplace. The sale is further illustration to the huge success we are experiencing with our commercial acoustic products this year”. NASDrill USBL provides a deepwater acoustic positioning system with dependable acoustic DP sensor for ultra deep water positioning. The system utilises Nautronix Acoustic Digital Spread Spectrum (ADS2) signalling technology, which is the key to the impressive range, accuracy and update rate performance provided by the NASDrill USBL System.
